Raphael is an associate of Mikael's, and annoys him with his affections. He rarely makes contact with Noelle or her family, but watches as Mikael encourages Noelle to become an angel. He seems to know something about Noelle becoming an angel that Mikael doesn't. At the end of the series, Natsumi sees him, and can't help but give him a second look.
